The novelty of presenting its plants through a virtual visit and the consolidation of Computer Vision as a control system has made Sugimat one of the most visited stands at the fair.
Sugimat has made a balance of its participation to Expobiomasa 2019, the most important international fair for the bioenergy sector and closes its participation with a resounding success. During the event, held from 24 to 26 September in Valladolid, Sugimat has participated with a large and modern stand where customers and visitors have received all the information regarding our products and services. In addition, they were able to make a virtual visit to one of our plants and get to know the installation closely. Also, the visitors of the fair have been able to attend our conferences on Computer Vision given throughout the three days of the event. In this edition, the number of visitors who came to the stand, as well as the attendees to the conferences, have exceeded all expectations, our stand being one of the most visited in the event.
As it did in previous editions, Sugimat has been present in the leading international fair for the biomass sector, presenting its portfolio of products and its innovative control system for burning biomass, Computer Vision. This year the event has registered more than 16,500 visitors from 30 different countries, thus becoming one of the best editions of recent years. These figures not only consolidate Expobiomasa as the leading fair for the biomass sector, but have also led to an increase in the number of visitors who have come to Sugimat’s stand to request information on the manufacture of industrial boilers and to make a virtual tour of one of our plants, thus knowing the installation without the need to be physically in it.
To these data must be added the success of the conferences of Sugimat on Computer Vision, which have had more than 120 attendants. This innovative technological system, designed by the company’s own R+D+i department, makes it possible to analyse the evolution of biomass combustion inside the combustion chamber and act on it by means of step grates or combustion fans. “With this technology it is possible to maintain optimum combustion on the grate and avoid the breakdowns that can be produced if the fuel leaves the furnace before being completely consumed” has said Alex Mas, Business Development Director of Sugimat.
During the three days of the event, 540 companies have exhibited the latest technological innovations in the sector in 28,000 square meters, which makes this fair one of the most important events in the biomass sector.
