Wood Bioenergy and PELICE in Atlanta are two of the most important fairs in the wood sector where Sugimat will present the advantages of thermal fluid vs steam next week.
SUGIMAT will attend the Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo and Panel & Engineered Lumber International Conference & Expo (PELICE), two of the most important biennial conferences in the wood bioenergy industry in the USA. In both events, which will take place from 11th to 12th and from 13th to 14th April respectively in Atlanta, Sugimat will be present with a wide information booth and will give two conferences on the use of thermal oil technology (HTF). More than 45 speakers will participate in both events addressing different topics of the sector, such as representatives of American Wood Council, Sandvik Process Systems, Swiss Krono USA or Biele, among other relevant companies.
Both Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo and PELICE will be held at the Grand Ballroom North of the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta (USA), where our Export Manager, Francisco Ripoll, will focus on two main topics: the advantages of using thermal fluid versus steam in industrial boilers, and computer vision applied to heaters. The first of SUGIMAT’s conferences will start on Wednesday, 11th April at 11:50 am, in the fifth edition of Wood Bioenergy. As for the second presentation, it will take place on Friday, 13th April at 4 pm and will be part of the sixth PELICE 2018. During the presentations, both entitled “Energy Efficiency Opportunities: Thermal Oil Versus Steam“, SUGIMAT will present the thermal fluid as the most appropriate technological alternative for the type of industry requiring indirect heating, since –being equipment working at low pressure and without water- many of the problems of the use of steam (as leaks, oxidations, corrosion by water lime, etc. and consequently, the high level of maintenance) are avoided. In addition, as thermal oil boilers can be installed outdoors, they require less investment and help save costs.
Both Conferences, organized by the Wood Bioenergy and Panel World magazines, are preceded by successful editions. In the case of Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo, in 2016 it attracted 320 professionals from the industrial wood and biomass sector. Regarding PELICE 2016, it set a record attendance of 450 industry professionals related to wood production.
The attendance to fairs and conferences of the sector is one of the pillars of SUGIMAT in its objective of communicating the brand worldwide. So, given the importance of the wood industry in the USA, Sugimat could not miss such relevant events in the US.
In this sense, in addition to Wood Bioenergy and PELICE, Sugimat will attend the German Achema fair, specialized in rubber and plastics, composites, building materials, industrial chemistry, among others topics, which will be held from 11th to 15th June in Frankfurt.
