SUGIMAT has built and installed several plants with thermal oil boilers for solar thermal plants and is currently under engineering and construction starting three other plants that have been awarded.

• The features of these boilers are:
• Boilers-coils with three steps smoke.
• Execution-vertical to ensure a complete emptying.
• Redeemer heat gas / oil for increased efficiency.
• Saving gas heat and air for increased efficiency.
• Economizer gas / air for combustion air preheating.
• Output of oil temperatures: 380 º C to 395 º C.
• Film temperatures <405 ° C.
• Performance: 90%.

Auxiliary boilers in a solar thermal field has two functions:

1. Keep the plant in operation if the solar radiation is insufficient under the conditions established.
2. Keep the hot fluid in case of a prolonged stoppage or unfavourable environmental conditions.
